Check out this billboard: It’s much more straight-forward than the ones put up by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. And it was losing business for nearby companies in Orange County, Florida: The billboard was on Colonial Drive near the Old Cheney Highway. Although the popular Straub’s Seafood restaurant often advertises on it, this wasn’t their billboard. The sign was taken down after Channel 9 started asking questions. The billboard came down around 4:00 Friday afternoon and nearby business owners are… Read more

In Carthage, Missouri, a local church did something useful for the community. They helped lower the gas prices to $1.99/gallon. The difference in price was bought by the Forest Park Baptist Church (Carthage Campus) — up to 15 gallons for the first 150 people who came by the Tiger Alley gas station. Even though the church did not publicize the buy-down, lines soon sprouted on both Fairview Street and River Street. The 150 drivers passed through the store in less… Read more
Recently in his life, Kyle Dodig wasn’t religious. He started to read the Bible and got interested in religion. He wanted to experience church. So he’s visiting a different house of worship every week for a year: “My goal is, ultimately, to find a church where I can go and where I can hear those stories in a way that touches me and affects me. One day, when they let me enter Canada, she’ll find this out. Until then, the wedding is… Read more

O’Donnell, Kumail Nanjiani, Mike Drucker, John Knefel, and Jamie Kilstein. You bring the… Read more
