She graduated from the conservative Christian Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a desire to unlearn all the school's toxic religious teachings. She has since found a passion for reading and writing about atheism, religion, science, and social justice on her blog She Seeks Nonfiction, where she has posted every Sunday morning since 2016.
Rebekah lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and their two cats, where she works in graphic design and video production.
Beth is the resident Anglican blogger at Friendly Atheist, representing "Not All Christians" in a country stained by Trumpism. Her work has appeared in Sojourner's, Huffington Post, and Christians for Biblical Equality, among other places.
Val Wilde is the Friendly Atheist's token Canadian, having lived all over the province of Ontario and also in Alberta. After acquiring a B.A. in Literature and Media Studies, a Master's in Library Science, and a diploma certification in early childhood education, they realized all they ever really wanted to do was write for a living. Currently they're working towards completing their first fit-for-publication novel. Find out how that's working out for them @valcedony on Twitter.
