MAGA Cultist Pastor: If Churches Don’t Open Their Doors ASAP, the Communists Win

I know Christian Hate-Pastor Greg Locke, who runs Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, is just trying to take the attention mantle away from Westboro Baptist Church, but his MAGA cultism is going to get people killed.

He has already said that there will be no masks or social distancing at his church. But yesterday in his latest rant, he urged other pastors to defy all forms of COVID precautions because doing otherwise was caving in to… Communism. Somehow.

We are destroying the local church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the United States because we’re trying to placate to a culture that hates God in the first place.

Jesus said the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church of God. And you think the government’s gonna prevail? You think COVID, some kind of pandemic, is going to prevail? You think the left is going to prevail? No, ladies and gentlemen, we are being destroyed, not from the outside in, we are being destroyed from the inside out. We have got to push back against this nonsense.

Open your churches! This is ridiculous!

There was a time when it all started, I thought, “Well, I’m not going to shame anybody for not…” I’ve changed my shame game 1,000%. I’ve changed my shame game. You know why? Because now, you ought to be shamed. Because you ought to have your church open, and you ought to let people worship and hear preaching and pray and fast and give and show up for the fellowship of believers.

Because, again, the location isn’t the power. The gathering, the gathering, the gathering is the power of God, ladies and gentlemen, and we’ve got to get back to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Enough with all this padlocking the church doors, let’s just go online. No! Enough! Enough!

I don’t care if you’re a megachurch. I don’t care if you’re a church that has five people. Open the door! We have closed the hope centers of the United States. We need hope now more than ever. We need Jesus more than ever. We need preaching more than ever. We need the Bible and the authority of the Holy Spirit more than ever. We need to see God do something more than ever.

And what are we doing? We’re sitting around in our pajamas, on our couches, sipping lattes with not enough power to blow the fuzz off a small peanut. Open up your churches. I don’t care how mad you get. I don’t care how upset — you can unfollow me. You can report me. People can get mad and say whatever they want to.

I don’t live under Communism! I live under the Constitution of this great nation, which is still great and still free. And most of all, I live under the authority and the influence of a book that we call the Bible.

And so I’m telling you, churches, and I’m telling you, pastors, get a backbone, stand up, push back against this garbage. Open up the churches!

There is absolutely zero excuse for any church in America being closed right now over this COVID nonsense.

Open the churches and let’s watch revival fire fall.

I swear, the dumbest, angriest Christian voices always think making videos while driving is effective… (Keep your eyes on the road, buddy. You can whine after you park.)

I know regular readers don’t need to hear this, but better churches are remaining closed because they don’t want to endanger their members. Killed off your congregation is really the worst way to grow your church.

It’s strange that Locke’s God is apparently so weak that He can’t hear prayers unless everyone gathers in person. Apparently, the communal act of worshiping online together, at the same time, isn’t good enough for God. People must be in close proximity to strangers, spreading the virus from one person to the next, or else God is weak.

Churches, like schools and sports leagues and concerts, should remain closed until it’s actually safe to return. The longer idiots like Locke hasten the spread of the virus by refusing to take the most basic of protections, the longer it will take to open up these buildings.

In a sense, Locke is whining about Christian persecution that he’s causing. If he would just listen to the scientists, he could be back into his church in no time. Instead, he’s prolonging the pandemic. And rather than admitting that, he’s yelling into a camera and blaming the world for his own damn problems.

This is what happens when you have no one in your life who can steer you straight. Make sure you seek out friends who are smarter than you are, kids. Otherwise you’ll end up like this guy.
