Christian Hate-Preacher: If You Come to My Church in a Mask, I’ll Kick You Out!

For the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time on this site calling out pastors who urged their congregations to attend in-person gatherings at the height of the pandemic. Many of those services had little to no social distancing. Few people were wearing masks. And the pastors didn’t care.

But not enforcing any kind of mask mandate is still better than what Christian hate-preacher Greg Locke is doing.

Locke — who claimed last month that he was going to sue CNN, Newsweek, and the conservative Christian website Pulpit & Pen for defamation but still hasn’t gotten around to it — said to his congregation at Global Vision Bible Church in Tennessee yesterday that if members showed up with face masks, he would kick them out.

Don’t believe this Delta variant nonsense. STOP IT! Stop it! I know Right Wing Watch is watching; I don’t care. If they go through round two and you start showing up, all these masks and all this nonsense, I will ask you to leave.

I will ask you to leave! I am not playing these Democrat games up in this church! If you want to social distance, go to First Baptist Church, but don’t come to this one! I’m done with it! I said I’m done with it! I ain’t playing these stupid games.

The crowd stood and cheered, which is what you’d expect from a Christian cult.

Keep in mind that CNN aired a segment in May about how Locke’s COVID lies arguably led at least one member, Coburn Kennedy, to an early death.

Back in December, Locke was also asked by CNN to define what a “pandemic” was, which should’ve been an easy question since he so adamantly denied we were in one. He couldn’t do it.

He’s a mix of stupid, confident, loud, and selfish. Locke’s ignorance of COVID, and his newer ignorance of the deadlier Delta variant, is going to lead some of his (likely unvaccinated) church members to their graves. And their ignorance will inevitably affect other members of their community, too.

Getting kicked out of Locke’s church for taking the most basic precaution against COVID could save those members’ lives. I have no confidence any of them will go through with it.
