This Christian Driver’s Attempt to Slut-Shame a Woman Failed Miserably

Of all the ways for Christians to evangelize, holding up a piece of paper calling someone else a sinner while you sit in your car has to be somewhere at the bottom of the barrel between screaming at students on a college campus and creating God’s Not Dead 4.

And yet that’s what one woman did last week. The unnamed woman held up a sign reading “GOD HATES SIN” (in all caps, naturally) in the direction of TikTok dancer Kristina Garcia all because Garcia was wearing what looked to be a scandalous outfit (or nothing at all) but was actually beige-colored clothing.

The video includes language that’s possibly NSFW.

Who walks through the parking lot naked? Who does that?… You’re a seductress. In the Bible they call you a whore, Jezebel! You have got to repent. That is so dirty! You’re swinging your stuff around, waiting for people to crash, so they can watch you! That’s disgusting!

How much is your hymen worth? How much? Are you the mom? Are you the one clapping, clapping for her? “You look so sexy going to hell. Way to go!”…

It’s not just that Garcia is wearing clothing, which she shows in the video. It’s that this Christian woman decided the best way to respond would be by trying to get her to repent of her sins by slut-shaming her… over something that wasn’t even true.

Garcia has since deleted the video from TikTok without explanation, but not before it racked up over 2 million views. She did, however, leave up an explanatory video in which she talks about what led to that incident:

Reply to @gmiller713 thanks for reaching out and all the love from everyone. Here’s what happened prior to recording Karen

Reply to @mrs.kristinagarcia thanks for the love and seriously not trying to spread hate. Ironically I had just dropped off my mom and Godmother

Garcia adds in that second clip that she’s religious and prays “every day,” which makes the accusations against her even less meaningful. But even if Garcia was an atheist, and even if she was wearing something the other woman didn’t like, none of it would make that woman’s actions any more appropriate.

It didn’t bring people closer to Jesus. It made viewers want nothing to do with Christianity.
