Hate-Preacher During Crowded Easter Service: “Take Them Stupid Masks Off!”

Christian Hate-Preacher Greg Locke, who’s been hosting precaution-free services for his congregation in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee for the past year while ignoring the seriousness of the pandemic, used his Easter Sunday service to mock anyone daring to wear a mask for any reason that’s not medical.

At one point, around the 1:14:50 mark, he was condemning state laws against in-person gatherings during the pandemic. He complained that people who aren’t devout Christians might listen to the media (and scientists) rather than trust the Bible.

He then bragged about never shutting his church down over the past year and vowed he’d never listen to anyone who told him to stop in-person services:

… [Law enforcement] will roll up in tanks. They will drop down from helicopters. And I promise you it won’t be a dozen police out there from Wilson County and from Mt. Juliet. It’s going to take the entire United States military to roll up into this parking lot and tell us, “Hey, we can’t worship Jesus, and that we got to shut our church down, and that we can’t preach, and we can’t pray, and we can’t…” You have lost your mind if you think I’ve given in to that! You have lost your mind if you think I’m giving into that mess! We are staying open forever! Forever!

And unless you’re under a doctor’s orders — and a few of you are — take them stupid masks off when you come to Global Vision [Bible Church]. There, I said it on Easter. Take them stupid masks off.

[Speaking of wearing masks:] That’s crack smokin’ crazy is what that is.

No one knows crazy like a guy who goes on national television to complain about pandemic precautions without being able to define what a “pandemic” is.

To be clear, no one has ever said Christians can’t worship Jesus. Responsible pastors have been live-streaming services since the pandemic began while other Christian leaders have taken sensible precautions to mitigate any COVID spread.

Not Greg Locke. He doesn’t care who gets hurt because of his negligence and he’ll belittle anyone who dares to play it safe.

Keep in mind Locke is also an anti-vaxxer. So not only is he urging his congregation not to wear any masks, he’s also discouraging them from getting the shot(s). He’s doing everything he can to spread the virus because he thinks science is a giant conspiracy against Christianity.
