The Virginia state Senate this week approved a bill that would allow student groups at publicly funded colleges and universities to discriminate against members whose religious beliefs don’t align with those of the group. Read more
Last year, a proposed law colloquially known as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill threatened to ban all discussions of homosexuality in Tennessee schools. Though it gleefully died in assembly, it was reintroduced this week… and with harsher provisions than the first time around. Read more
