Last year, author Chrystine Trooien ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for a book introducing Christian mythology to children.
That book is now available for anyone who’d like to buy it. I’ve had a chance to look through the final version and it’s just beautiful. It’s not snarky and it’s not offensive. Rather, it just offers an objective take on Christian beliefs that atheists know aren’t based in reality.
Consider it an introduction to the Bible that doesn’t involve indoctrination.
Put this way, they read more like Aesop’s fables than as the history of humanity — which is exactly as they should be. Your kids will appreciate these stories and you’ll enjoy sharing them with no fear of anyone taking them literally.
