It’s Christmas on Earth … and in Heaven!

Thirty years ago, the Monty Python team released The Meaning of Life, a movie that (spoiler alert) reveals that said meaning is

“Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.”

I can live with that.

Putting the lie to the assertion that atheists hate Christmas, I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas today. Especially hearty holiday wishes go to Jeff Goldblum, whose face Graham Chapman appears to have stolen in this classic sketch (NSFW).

    The Meaning of Life is both hilarious and weird (even by Monty Python standards), it got a little awkward when I watched that scene for the first time while my dad was in the same room…

    Just to comment on the movie I wonder what gay men get to see on their floor show number. Everyone else gets women with perfectly formed breasts, i know fake covers, that I think gay men would appreciate something else during the floor show.
