What’s the least religious country in the world?
Whatever you think it is, another answer may be more accurate. This video from Dr. Andrew M. Henry does a really nice job of discussing all the nuance that goes into that question, and offers a few different ways of finding the answers.
As he says, non-religious could mean actively not believing in God, not participating in religious rituals, and not being part of any organized religious community. Sweden and China are both secular on paper… but that means very different things in the two countries.
Just a reminder that counting atheists isn’t always as simple as it sounds.
