I’m launching a new project today, and I hope you’ll consider checking it out.
I write a lot of articles on this site about religion/politics every day. I read through many more that I don’t write about. Still, I know it’s a lot for anyone to reasonably sift through. Hell, there’s a lot for me to read and this is what I do.
So today, I’m launching a newsletter through Substack that summarizes the biggest stories of the day — at least the ones at the intersection of religion and politics — in shorter bites. A few times a week, at night, we’ll email you a rundown of the biggest stories, tweets, videos, and links. (Without ads.) It’s a supplement to the articles on this site for people who prefer getting only the highlights — beyond just the headlines.
Consider it a straw for the firehose of information that is the 2020 news cycle.
You can become a subscriber here. That’s free to do.
I need to stress this point, though: The newsletter will eventually be a paid service. While everything will be free for the next few weeks as we work out the kinks, and at least once a week after that, only paid subscribers will get all future emails. So if this sort of news digest is meaningful to you, you can sign up right here for now, but please consider becoming a paid subscriber!
If you don’t want to do that, no problem. You can always continue reading full articles here as usual.
If you have any thoughts on things we ought to include in the newsletter, leave them in the comments below or just send me a message!
