Pastor: There’s a Rise in Paranormal Activity Due to Camera Pixels… Somehow

Right-wing pastor Perry Stone — who’s best known for checking his phone while speaking in tongues, claiming to speak four languages at once (also in tongues), and for delivering a sermon to a bunch of puppets — has been on a sabbatical from his church lately after acting “inappropriately” with women in his ministry.

But yesterday, during an episode of his “Paranormal Manifestations” show, Stone explained why there was a rise in paranormal activity… even though their isn’t.

His answer? Cameras have gotten more powerful.

… Someone asked me why do you think that there seems to be more paranormal activity today than there ever has been, and the answer is that demonic powers feed off of iniquity. And where there is more disobedience, sin, and iniquity, of course, there is more to open the door for them.

The second thing is, with the technology today, the pixels in a camera, the pixels in your phone — I say pixels, it uses chips, let me correct that — I’m speaking here, the technology of a television, camera, it’s much much more light sensitive than it used to be. And I do believe there are times, and I’m not talking about using some modern method of Photoshop, I’m talking about, at times, things can appear that normally would not appear.

I’m not the expert on that, and I’m not going to explain it

Pixels! Of course! If cameras are stronger, then… ghosts… can’t hide? I don’t get it either. There’s no scourge of unidentified objects being captured on camera. But when it happens, people are usually quick to point out possible natural explanations for it.

Leave it to a guy hosting a show about the paranormal to say he won’t explain the most obvious question.
