After Pastor’s Anti-Mask Tirade, Dunkin’ Announces Mask Mandate At All Locations

Last week, Christian Hate-Pastor Greg Locke, who runs Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, made a video denouncing masks that centered around his experience at Dunkin’, a coffee and donut chain with locations nationwide.

In that video, Locke whined about how he visited a Dunkin’ location while on vacation to ask for his favorite meal of the day: two medium coffees with “seven cream, five sugars in each one… yeah, I know, I got a problem.” But he was told to leave because he wasn’t wearing a mask. That set him off on a tirade that involved him screaming at a manager (“Nazi Skippy”), “I’m going to take these work boots, and I’m going to kick your teeth down your throat.”

Just like Jesus, this guy…

Anyway, without making any reference to Locke, Dunkin’ has now announced that all guests will need masks starting later this week.

To help bring consistency to Dunkin’ locations across the country, we will now require that all guests wear a face covering while inside our restaurants beginning Wednesday, August 5.

we believe that wearing a mask is a simple step we can all take to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and help to keep guests and restaurant crew safe. This simple step to wear a face covering will help to provide a safe environment for guests, franchisees and their restaurant employees.

Did they make the change because of Locke or was it merely a coincidence? We don’t know. (Dunkin’ didn’t respond to an inquiry I made days ago.) But if it took Locke for them to make the change, better late than never.

Locke hasn’t said anything on social media about the mask mandate. I’m guessing that has less to do with the face coverings and everything to do with the possibility that he might get banned from his favorite coffee chain. Who else will sell him multiple giant cups of sugar a day?
