Stephen Colbert Imagines How Trump Would Rewrite the Bible. It’s Spot-On.

There’s a great quote that’s often misattributed to Mohandas Gandhi:

“I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

No one knows who came up with that (one Bara Dada apparently said something close about a hundred years ago), but those words may have been on the minds of the Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert and his team when they put together this right-on-the-money new video.

The Book of Don is obviously fake (or, as its purported author would say, fake news) — but then, the same is true for the Book of John.

Delusions persist, but at least we can choose to laugh at them.
