During a Facebook livestream yesterday morning, right-wing radio host and former candidate for Lt. Governor of Virginia E.W. Jackson told his church that they had nothing to fear when it came to COVID-19.
Mind you, this is the same guy who, earlier this month, complained about a “virulent” strain of “homovirus.” Because that’s what’s really threatening America.
Jackson told his congregation that he was COVID-19-free because he had a special “vaccine” and he talked to God about it. And then he went on to say that Christians “don’t have to” get the virus. As if it’s a choice.
I don’t have the coronavirus! I’m not gonna get the coronavirus! I’m not gonna give anybody the coronavirus! Cause I can’t get it, because I talked to God about it, and I’ve taken my vaccine — my vaccine is Psalm 91 — and I am FREE from that mess![Amen]
And I declare you can be free from it too.
I read an article, and it was criticizing me, and part of it, they said, like, “He acts like Christians can’t get the coronavirus!” Now, I never said that. I never said that! Because of course they can! But here’s what I’m saying: You don’t have to. If you guys believe in God, you don’t have to. Hallelujah! And if you don’t have to, then don’t.
There you go. It’s just that simple. Don’t get it! Boom.
If only 122,000 Americans had known that before they received a positive test for it.
It’s dangerous to declare people with faith can avoid the virus just as it’s dangerous to hold an in-person church service when the virus thrives in such an environment. But Jackson has never cared about the well-being of anyone but himself.
