It’s unclear what church this is, who the pastor is, or any of the other relevant details to this story, so take it with a giant grain of salt. That said, there are pastors who have shamed non-tithers or urged their congregations to simply hand over their bank account information so that the money keeps flowing.

A whip takes it all to another level, but it’s no less disturbing than the emotional manipulation that occurs at churches all over the country.
