Always eager to stir the pot, Christian blogger Lori Alexander (who, to the shock of many, is real) has some thoughts when it comes to domestic violence: Ladies, it’s probably your fault.
Given her vitriol for all things feminist — or even remotely decent — her words are exactly what you’d expect from someone who believes a woman’s place is in the home.
A wife has a much greater chance of being abused if she is quarrelsome, contentious, & abusive towards her husband rather than if she is kind, loving, & submissive. God’s ways are for our good, NOT for our harm.

A wife has a much greater chance of being abused if she’s with an abuser. Full stop.
No one deserves to be mistreated, and a marital spat isn’t grounds for violence. Abuse is always the abuser’s problem. Ask any woman who’s ever endured violence from her partner: Being kind doesn’t work. Not burning dinner doesn’t work.
Want to stop an abuser? Try a restraining order. (And even those can fail.)
For someone who holds men to such a high standard — they must represent God in order to spiritually lead the family — Aunt Lydia Lori sure doesn’t think much of them on a personal level. She seems to believe their malevolent behavior can be easily excused with a simple “She made me do it.”
