Michele Bachmann: Trump is the Most “Godly, Biblical” President We’ve Ever Seen

Former congresswoman Michele Bachmann said on the show “Understanding the Times” with host Jan Markell over the weekend that Donald Trump was the most “biblical president” she’s even seen. (You can hear it around the 33:32 mark of the audio.)

… I will say to your listeners, in my lifetime, I have never seen a more biblical president than I have seen in Donald Trump.

He has so impressed me with what he has done, and we haven’t even talked about Israel. What he has done to advance Israel. So he is highly biblical, and I would say to your listeners, we will in all likelihood never see a more godly, biblical president again in our lifetimes.

So we need to be not only praying for him, we need to support him, in my opinion, in every possible way that we can.

If by biblical, she means Trump is capable of inflicting all kinds of cruelty upon people on a whim, I guess she has a point…?

If she meant anything else, well, then she just created the best ever marketing campaign for atheism that I’ve ever seen.

Trump is ignorant, unhinged, cruel, incompetent, and boorish — and that’s just on his productive days. He’s had five children with three wives, paid hush money to a porn star, ordered children to be torn away from their parents, routinely promotes bigotry and white nationalism, tells people to lie on his behalf, and is constantly mired in scandals of his own creation.

If that’s the most “godly, biblical” president ever, then we’d all be much better off with leaders who want nothing to do with religion, much less Christianity.

I’ve never heard a better advertisement for atheism.
