Comedian Moses Storm, who appeared in Arrested Development last season, was on Conan last night and told a hilarious story about his upbringing as a homeschooled Christian student. His strict mother also wouldn’t let him watch recreational TV. That was a problem since he really wanted to watch Conan O’Brien‘s old show…
But then he figured out a loophole. He urged his mom to sign up for a program that sent his family videotapes of Christian education classes because it would allow him to get a TV and VCR in his bedroom…
I won’t spoil the rest of it. Just listen to him tell the full story. It’s worth it.
I can’t believe it. He may be the first person to get something useful out of a Christian homeschooling curriculum.
