Jim Bakker: God Spoke to Me in 2007 and Said Donald Trump Would Be President

In 2007, televangelist Jim Bakker heard a message from God that said there would soon be a “wounding on the left.”

That was a year before Democrats won the White House (for eight years) and control of Congress.

Rather than admit he was wrong, Bakker is now saying it was true… because God was clearly referring to the election of Donald Trump. And as a result, he added, liberals are going to kill the president.

“Do you know what that wounding was?” he asked. “The election of Donald Trump. That was a wounding to the left. Why would God tell me that? Why would he have me blurt that out on television? It was because [of] what’s going on right now. If you want to understand what’s happening in America, this wounding is happening in America because of the anger on the left.”

“They’re so upset because their candidate did not win,” Bakker continued, “and they’re mad. They will kill Donald Trump, if they can. I’m serious. They will.”

“This is evil, what is going on,” he concluded. “Civil war is coming to America.”

Yep. Totally normal. Just a Christian preacher claiming a decade-old prophecy has come true and that liberals are going to go on a murderous rampage. It’s catnip for gullible conservative Christians who survive on daily doses of fear.
