Arkansas State Senator Jason Rapert, the Christian nationalist who’s apparently never heard of the Streisand effect, can’t believe that some local bar was advertising a concert with a terribly photoshopped picture of him eating a baby.
Now he’s calling for a boycott of that bar, Vino’s, because have they no decency?!
Friends, I rarely share with you the hateful posts and pictures that extreme liberals make about me to torment my stand for better moral values. But this time I want you to see what they have done. They use my image on an event without my permission and they depict me “biting a baby” in my mouth. A wicked and evil depiction on an event entitled “Eyehategod”. I call on Vinos in Little Rock to cancel this event and apologize for such a disrespectful image that shows the dehumanization of babies lives. It is disrespectful of all who value babies lives and people of faith. They also clearly welcome the Satanic Temple in another post I am sharing. I urge you NOT to frequent Vinos and stand against their hateful rhetoric.
Eyehategod is one of the bands playing that night, not the name of the event itself. (Looking up facts isn’t one of Rapert’s strong suits.)
I don’t know why they used his image. It’s gratuitous. It’s silly. It’s a cheap shot that plays into Rapert’s persecution complex. Hell, you don’t need to photoshop Rapert to make him look bad; quoting him directly usually does the trick. But in any case, they’ve since replaced his image with something else — due to a “shake down,” they say — while noting that the original posters would be available at the event.
Rapert elevating the image to DEFCON 1, however, only serves to make him look thin-skinned and petty. Had he just ignored it, very few people would’ve noticed or cared. Instead, he’s virtually ensuring national attention (not to mention a sold out show).
I figured I’d help him out.
Jason Rapert doesn’t eat babies, everyone.
He just wants to force women to give birth to them against their will.
If you can’t go to the live show, at least make a donation to Planned Parenthood. After all, abortion is the only way to stop the scourge of baby-eating that I hear is going around.
