Christian Scientists — the sect, not the title Creationists give themselves — believe a lot of irrational things, the most important of which is that medicine isn’t necessary to heal sickness. There’s no medical problem prayer can’t overcome.
While the faith may be better known for its newspaper than its practice these days, it’s not without adherents. That’s why this video from Stephen Woodford explaining the faith and why it’s problematic is so helpful:
