Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is up for re-election once again, and if Democrat Tony Evers could beat him, it would be one of the biggest victories in what will hopefully be a midterm election full of them. It’s not surprising, then, that Walker is promoting his Christian values, hoping to keep evangelical Christians on his side and active heading into November.

The problem with that tweet is that his critics know far more about the Bible than he does — and they really don’t want to see a government official using his Twitter account to promote his preferred religion — which they made clear in a series of stinging responses:

It’s a close race but Walker is feeling the heat. If you live in Wisconsin, make sure you’re doing everything you can to vote for Evers.
