Jim Bakker: Liberals Will Soon Be “Assassinating Preachers of the Gospel”

In case you were wondering, televangelist Jim Bakker is still going on about how liberals are going to kill Christians.

This is the same guy who said, without evidence, that 100 hitmen have been hired to kill Donald Trump and left-wingers will go after Christian leaders.

Bakker said on his show yesterday that “they” will be “assassinating preachers of the Gospel soon.”

“I’m going to tell you something and I probably shouldn’t, but I’ve known this for quite a while,” he continued. “They’re going to be assassinating preachers of the Gospel soon. They are so angry. They want what they want. That’s why they’re mad at Trump. You don’t get it. You really don’t get it, why they’re mad at Trump. They’re mad at Trump because he’s like taking candy from a baby. They’re crying, they want what they want and they want it now and they want it forever and they’ve taken over America, basically.”

“This is the supernatural events of the Last Days,” Bakker declared. “They’re now! And the church has to wake up, the people need to wake up. God spoke to me before this election that this election was life and death.”

… and I suppose Rachel Maddow is leading the charge.

At what point does his prediction expire? Is there ever a day when those preachers are all alive when Bakker admits he’s lying? When they die of old age, will he finally say he was wrong?

No. Of course not. Christian con artists never admit their predictions didn’t pan out. I just wish those people gullible enough to fall for his lies would ask some of those questions.

Instead, while he had them hooked, Bakker attempted to sell them a set of solar-powered lanterns. Because when the liberals come after you, you’re gonna want a lantern. (Pitchforks sold separately.)
