Watch This 14-Year-Old Discuss Her Vocal Advocacy for Science and Civil Rights

I’ve posted a lot of articles in the past about Kelly Helton, a 14-year-old atheist from Kentucky who’s been an outspoken advocate for science education, women and LGBTQ rights, and comprehensive sex education.

She recently sat down with Seth Andrews for a conversation about why she’s so vocal about these issues. It’s not a long video but it shows you just how powerful one voice can be.

Here’s hoping she keeps up the activism throughout high school and beyond.
