YouTuber Rachel Oates does a really nice job talking about how and when you should come out as an atheist to people close to you.

That includes the possibility that you may have to keep your non-beliefs to yourself.

(I believe the second video clip she includes is fake, but that shouldn’t detract from everything else.)

Believe it or not, Reddit actually has an excellent guide for people considering telling their parents they no longer believe in God.
