We’ve Hit Our Goal for Queer Disbelief, a Book About LGBTQ Rights and Atheism

I’m thrilled to say that we’ve hit our fundraising goal for Queer Disbelief!

After nearly a month, a book I’ve been working on with author Camille Beredjick, about the intersection of LGBTQ rights and atheism, will move to the next stage thanks to nearly 300 backers. The book is all about how our communities overlap, where the comparisons break down, how religion hurts (and helps!) LGBTQ people, and why atheists can’t ignore this issue.

We’ll be posting more about it later, but for now, I just wanted to thank all the readers who supported the project and remind anyone who hasn’t pre-ordered a copy that you still have the opportunity to do so! The Kickstarter campaign will go through Thursday night.

After that, we’ll take a brief hiatus to work out all the final details and get the book into print. When it becomes available to the general public, I’ll let you all know.
