Christian Veteran: God’s “Literal Hand and Finger” Saved My Father in WWII

On yesterday’s episode of WallBuilders Live!, Christian pseudo-historian David Barton‘s son Tim spoke with retired Vietnam veteran Lieutenant Lee Rosco.

Rosco was telling stories about his father, who served in World War II. And one of the anecdotes he shared was dubious, to say the least.

He explained how Japanese soldiers flying kamikaze missions would “come out of the sun” so people couldn’t see them before it was too late. His father, however, managed to escape one of those attacks through divine intervention (around the 6:25 mark):

This day, a literal hand and finger came out of a cloud as the Japanese plane was nearing its target. It tipped the wing of the plane over so that the Japanese plane keeled over and smashed into an exploded in the water just beyond the stern of the ship saving all aboard.

Dad was very cognizant of the fact that we serve a living God and he intervenes as he sees fit. He brought Dad safely home…

God literally stuck his hand into our world to tip over a Japanese soldier on a suicide mission.

Game’s over, atheists. They have literal proof of God’s existence now. There’s no longer any room for doubt.
