Have you bought a giant bucket of food from televangelist Jim Bakker yet? Because he has a really compelling reason for you to spend some cash now.
Bakker says that when the End Times are here, there will be so much chaos that people will start eating each other for survival. Therefore, if you want to avoid resorting to cannibalism, you’re going to want a few buckets of food at your side! (Or I guess you can throw the buckets at the people coming after you…?)
“In perilous times, they do crazy things,” Bakker said, adding that he has “cried so much” over the destruction wrought on Houston by Hurricane Harvey.
“I saw wonderful people with everything gone,” Bakker wept. “Everything gone! You don’t understand everything gone! You don’t understand living in darkness unless you’ve lived in darkness. And they will kill each other, eat each other, steal everything from each other and that’s what the Bible warns about. I want you to be prepared.”
I’m pretty sure that being fatally devoured by another human is more appealing than eating whatever’s in those buckets.
