That’s not a bad answer, by the way, though it’s far more likely that young people no longer see the church as a moral authority, don’t accept its claims of truth, and have better ways of spending their time.
Incidentally, a few years ago, cartoonist Ray Billingsley showed the main character, Curtis, clashing with a fundamentalist Christian.
