CNN’s Jake Tapper Tweeted a Bible Verse About Lying; Naturally, Donald Trump’s Base Responded

Earlier today, CNN’s Jake Tapper tweeted out a Bible verse about how lying is a sin. He didn’t mention any names, but it’s telling that Donald Trump‘s supporters assumed he was talking about the President.

(It’s easy to tell which ones are Trump fans because of all the spelling and grammar mistakes in their tweets.)

Several of the commenters argued that Tapper shouldn’t be quoting the Bible because he clearly hasn’t read it, as if only Christians have the right to cite it. Though, if anything, it’s atheists who know more about the Holy Book. That’s why we’re atheists.
