I’ve said this before, but my favorite Richard Dawkins book is The Ancestor’s Tale. It was the first Dawkins book I ever picked up and the one that really introduced me to how evolution works. I thought I had a decent understanding of the theory from classes I had taken, but the book expanded my knowledge of the topic and made me want to learn even more. (And all of that happened after I graduated from college.)
It’s a really lengthy book and I wished it was longer.
Well, that’s finally happening. More than a decade after it was first published, today marks the release of a revised and expanded edition of the book, co-authored with Yan Wong:
If you haven’t read it before, treat yourself. Get a copy. It’s definitely worth your time. The revised edition is out in paperback and on Kindle.
