A Lot of Published Scientific Research is False

Given the pressure to get published, the fact that scientists are bound to get some false positives in their work, and the myriad tricks researchers can use to more easily obtain a statistically significant result, how much can we trust the research that ultimately ends up in credible journals?

That’s the question Derek Muller tackles in his latest video:
