Matthew 10:34 comes to mind in this case of a club-wielding priest:
A Roman Catholic priest in Grand Island [Nebraska] who’d been accused of using a club to threaten his brother was given two years of probation on reduced charges Tuesday.

Fifty-three-year-old Michael Wetovick was originally charged with making felony terroristic threats, assault and use of a weapon. Wetovick pleaded no contest and was convicted on two misdemeanor charges. The weapons charge was dismissed.
Hall County authorities say that on June 16, 2013, Wetovick accused his brother of stealing from him and a fight ensued. Authorities say the brothers have been involved in a long feud.
Maybe it was just a Cain and Abel reenactment?
