    That’s my first thought, too. Infertile and elderly people, are they less human and less deserving of romantic love because they don’t reproduce in a bulb-and-socket manner?

    I’d like to see him justify Leviticus 12 with a straight face.  Not even using the old “you have to understand this was for people in a different time” can explain that one.  Sure it’s not the worst of the bunch, but it is downright funny.

    Dear Mr. Robertson:

    The reason why Cathy’s stance is so controversial is not because of what he said, but because of what he does.  The issue is that he gives millions of dollars to anti-gay organizations, which in turn hurt actual human beings who happen to be gay — not just in the US but in Africa and other parts of the world.  This is not a free speech issue at all.
