Haha, for a second, I thought the joke was that by buying so many tickets to countries high on America’s crap-list, you’d basically sic homeland security on them and put them on no-fly lists.
In other words, “Dear Muslima”.
Maybe liberals cn go to show them what a real war on women looks like
Uhhhh what? So are you saying that the mandate for coverage of contraception really IS a threat to religious freedom? Tell me you’re not that insane.
Frankly I just roll my eyes when I hear Priests and Pastors whining about being “persecuted for their faith” and the “War on religious freedom in this country.” It’s all nonsense. As Jon Stewart so aptly put it, “Not getting everything you want does not constitute a war on your faith.” Gays being allowed to get married= a war on religion! Contraceptive coverage in health care= a war on religion! Not being allowed to force kids to pray= a war on religion! Oh please! Cry me a river! Like the cartoon says if you want to see REAL religious persecution go to China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Yup. The Liberals are totally the ones restricting all our rights and trying to control us. Keep living that fantasy.
Is this a “Dear Muslima” type of argument?
oops, beaten to it. (always read the comments first dammit.)
Like forcing wimenz to make their own choices about their bodies instead of conservatives doing it for them and saving them from all that stress? Poor dears, they just don’t have what it takes, do they?
You still haven’t completely convinced me that your comments here aren’t all just one Poe after another. You keep redefining the bottom of the barrel of stupidity.
For a moment i thought that it was about Romney’s visit to the UK ^^
No, it’s not a “Dear Muslima”. Suggesting that guys not make inappropriate advances to a woman they’ve never met in an elevator at 4 in the morning does not imply ignorance of, neither dismissal of FGM or other brutalities suffered by women.
Calling the healthcare mandate a war on religious freedom when it actually does nothing to impede anyone’s religious freedom (and, in fact enhances individuals’ freedom to manage their own healthcare according to the dictates of their own conscience rather than that of third parties) does dismiss and display ignorance of what would actually constitute a campaign against religious freedom.
A “dear Muslima” with China, Burma and Noth Korea at the top of the list ? Doubtful, if only because these three countries wage a war on religious freedom for non-religious purposes: religions are countrary to the cult of personality/cult of the Party some of these had going on and in any case may serve as instrument of revolt, if they are not used to the benefit of the regime as in Iran.
