I hate when people say “militant secularism.” What the hell is that even supposed to mean?

when one says they support opinion a, and it reflects their religion its called faith.  When one says they support opinion a,  but it does not reflect any religion, its taken as a personal diss for some reason and they attack with the words militant

It means they are projecting. They don’t like it when violent or extremist members of their group are called militant. That means outspoken secularists deserve the same label when they say things that make theists uncomfortable. It hurts to be threatened with the loss of long held privilege.
