American Humanist Association Ads Go Up in New Orleans

In anticipation of their upcoming conference in New Orleans, the American Humanist Association has put up this ad on local streetcars through June 28^th:

In addition, the New Orleans Secular Humanist Association is putting up the following billboard near the Superdome from June 4^th-10^th:

Speakers at the conference (June 7^th-10^th) include Gloria Steinem, NPR’s Science Friday host Ira Flatow, and MSNBC/The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur.

HUMANIST MANIFESTO 2 describes Humanism as a way we can rise above and beyond the denials and assertions of old religions. Has Humanism now lost that distinctive and intelligent stance and become just a clone of atheism?
