  • Knew that.  My pastor-in-law’s pc is always riddled with spyware.  He never visits anything naughtier than, and trust me, isn‘t a dating site.

Though, to be fair, what’s the point in tracking the kind of smut people are interested in? Better off trying to scam people who actually have money, not teens hiding in their mom’s basement.

Wait, so is this a subtle message that atheists are OK with their kids watching porn?

The last line of the referenced article makes clear the writer believes in “the woo”

He says: “Sadly, based on the findings, it seems that Web surfers are more apt to dump money into adult material than in the collection plate on Sunday morning.”

    IMHO, that’s a good thing.

    I don’t know, is it?

  • All religious sites are laced with malware. Unfortunately, rather than the relatively innocuous stuff on porn sites that just infects your computer, the stuff on religious sites infects your brain.  Reason is a highly effective antivirus tool, but not too many people have it installed.

This explains a lot. About a month ago I was debating evolution with a Christian (the YEC variety) on my friend’s facebook page (my friend invited me over). He kept sending me links to different creationist websites and articles, but for over half of them I got a warning from my computer about malware. Suffice it to say, I didn’t go to any of the ones with warnings and I was able to thoroughly destroy all the ones I did read, and the guy said he didn’t even read past the first page of a TalkOrigins article I sent to him. He said he didn’t want to be influenced by it or something. I guess the devil wrote everything over there on TalkOrigins.
