I was hoping to see Tebow cry again but I didn’t. I also did not see him thank his Lord for a good game. What’s the matter Tebow? You only pray when something good happens to you?

The video talking about this was especially funny with the zinger of a response from comedian Jamie Kilstein. http://freethoughtblogs.com/pharyngula/2012/01/14/there-is-no-god/
Why does this remind me of God’s impotence against iron chariots? The LORD was with the men of Judah. They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had chariots fitted with iron. Judges 1:19 NIV
As a die-hard Broncos fan, I’m so offended by this post sugesting that my own country god Quetzalcoatl would be helping puny Pats instead of my team…
Well… I have to prepare a virgin sacrifice to both Quetzalcoatl and Tlaloc so that they switch to Denver next season… sigh!
Cheers from the Hippo

The PBS Kids show Dragontales also features a Quetzl – he’s the big dragon, with a Mexican accent, who teaches kids at The School in the Sky. Whenever I saw him, I always got a smug sense of satisfaction knowing that the reference to the Aztec serpent god was likely unnoticed by most viewers. I am easily amused — and just a bit arrogant.

Looks like even god was starting to find Tebow annoying and pretentious.
It’s too soon to tell whether this Focus game-day religious message will generate as much controversy as its 2010 Super Bowl ad…
I’m guessing no, because I’ve been around the atheist blogs this morning and no one seems to have even noticed, let alone cared. Maybe it’s because a) playoff games do not have the same cachet as the Super Bowl, and b) Tebow got his *** whupped. Suits me fine; FotF is trying to stir up some controversy and I don’t mind seeing them fail.

I saw it. It was really creepy.

Yes, I took notice and wanted to puke.

He did give his God a shout out at the post game conference before he took questions from the media. But apparently no Tebow-ing yesterday, thankfully.

What Saturday’s game demonstrated quite clearly is that as a quarterback in the NFL, Tim Tebow is not worthy to carry Tom Brady’s jockstrap. And I say this as a Broncos fan. *sigh*
OK, Elway, let’s make sure Timmy keeps takin’ snaps during the off-season…
