I’m On Freethought Radio This Weekend

For those of you in Madison, WI who still listen to the radio, I’ll be appearing on Freethought Radio (The Mic 92.1) Saturday morning at 11:00a!

For those of you who prefer podcasts, it’ll be up at the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s website sometime this weekend. I spoke with Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor about this website, Foundation Beyond Belief, and my Jain upbringing, among other things.

If you hear it, feedback is always appreciated!

Hemant, the link you offered doesn’t seem to be right (on the live feed at that link, some guy named Cowalski is the guest!)

I’m not sure the airwaves (or interwebz) actually belong to all of us, as we have been led to believe.

I bought a small super-inexpensive FM radio so I could listen to NPR Saturday mornings without sitting in my car. Aside from two clear stations, the entire band receives a young woman’s voice reciting Hail Marys. My car radio does not receive this signal.

AxeGrrl – Looks like you were an hour early. Madison is on Central Time. It will show up on the FFRF website on Mon or Tue, in case you missed it.

It was a very pleasant interview. I particularly enjoyed the second half of the discussion in which you talked about all the ways in which atheists are donating to worthy causes as a group. The first half on your book was ok, but readers here have probably heard that discussion many times before.
