Another Hilarious Trip Through the Creation Museum

Whether you’ve visited in person or not, you’ve probably seen all you need to of the Creation “Museum” in Kentucky.

But reading about someone else’s journey through it never gets old. Viceland Today has a visual-friendly jaunt through the place:

This “museum”, while hilarious, is an obscene waste of resources. It teaches the world nothing about actual history or science, and serves only as a propaganda tool for anti-science fundamentalists. The fact that enough people go to the Creation Museum to keep in up and running is disturbing.

  • I have to agree with you Angie. I found out not too long ago that the Church of Christ congregation that I used to attend went to this idiot farm not too long ago. Ironically, I was asked to leave the congregation because I refused to buy into Creationism and other pseudo-science garbage.

It is perhaps ironic that Big Bone Lick State Park is considered “the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology.”

Whenever I see an image like this, my heart warms, and I’m delighted to think that scientists didn’t stop at mere “millions of years”, but instead went on to billions of years.

Yeah. Everybody knows “Big Bone Lick” can’t lead to birth.

    Heh.
    You said bone.

  • Ugh. I live in southeastern Indiana, and I drive by the Creation Museum every time I go to Hebron or Florence.

It’s bad enough that something as ridiculous as that “museum” even exists, but it even messes with the entire area.

I went to the Friendship Flea Market (In Friendship, IN) this past year, and so many vendors were selling DVDs of that silly Ken Hamm speech thing, and if they saw you looking at it, they’d tell you how amazing it is and how it “shuts up those idiotic scientists.”

    *Sigh*

Saw this on FB too and the firt thought that occured to me is that Adam and Eve display would have these nutcakes marching against the “porn” in any other venue. Aargh, nudity!!! Yet, if it’s in the buybull, it’s suddenly okay to subject the kiddies to it.

Ah yes. Growing up in the area I remember field trips to Big Bone Lick. To get there from Florence, you drive through Sugartit, to Beaver Lick, then turn onto Beaver Road. No kidding!
