Travel Grants Available for American Atheists Convention

The American Atheists annual convention is taking place in Newark, New Jersey from April 2nd-4th.

If you’re a full-time student and a member of the Secular Student Alliance, registration is only $75.

Even better — The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science has made $100 and $200 travel grants available to full-time students!

I first began to get active with atheist organizations thanks to one of these kinds of travel grants. It’s a wonderful way to network with other atheists and listen to some of the most vocal and notable atheists out there.

If you have the ability to go that weekend, then take advantage of this opportunity.

By the way, the SSA’s annual student conference is set to take place July 23rd-25th in Columbus, Ohio. Save the dates!

  • Oh drat, the SSA conference is a week after I move out of Indiana. Hm. Well, I’ll see if I can still go once I get closer to the date…

Hemant – FYI – I used the new link for your RSS feed and it’s still awfully slow to update.

Hm. The Richard Dawkins website is not all that well-designed. I can’t find any reference to these rumored grants. Can you give any further direction?

    EDIT: Nevermind, found them!
