You know what makes me happy?
Children who just know where atheists want them to go:
Reader Adam says that his son AJ was just looking for his binky and that the family never uses the fireplace.
But we know what was really going on… 🙂
Oh why couldn’t this have been a caption competition?
“This was a picture taken moments before old Saint Nick arrived. Saint Nick is being held on charges of breaking and entering and manslaughter. No bail has been set.”
Never uses the fireplace? You can tell it has been used quite a bit. That explains his missing brothers and sisters.
For some odd reason, I’m reminded of a Bob Rivers spoof, Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire.
Santa has got some weird tastes lately. 😛
Hey Hemant! I’m a huge fan of the site, and I’m really glad you’ve made it for us as atheists, and also for theists to see us in a good light. That being said, I need to tell you that I feel the baby thing is getting old. I think it was funny the first few times, but I think it might be time to retire it. This one was a pretty big strech too. Anyhow, that’s my little opinion and I’m sure everyone else will disagree with me! Thanks!
“Willie, in one of his nice new sashes
Fell in the grate and was burnt to ashes.
Now, although the room grows chilly,
We haven’t the heart to poke up Willie”
I just stocked up on BBQ sauce – good timing I see.
Not sure how all generalizing all Atheists as enjoying “Dead Baby” jokes, or even as baby-haters is fair…(Don’t we agree that Atheists have a bad rap as immoral scum already?–hating adorable children really won’t help this stereotype change.)
I’m an atheist woman, and my partner is a male atheist, and we both LOVE kids. In fact, it’s biologically programmed into human beings to want to procreate, and not being sexist here, but for women (and often, committed men), to really love small children.
(Sidenote: we do also enjoy sex without a baby every time, until we’re financially ready ;)–so glad we didn’t turn out catholic like both our parents “every sperm is sacred” :P)
