Speak at SkepCHICamp? October 23, 2009

Speak at SkepCHICamp?

SkepCHICamp is essentially a one-day grassroots skeptical conference in Chicago run by volunteers taking place on March 6th, 2010.

You can find more information about it here. (I’ll be there. So will Skepchick Elyse. Do you need to know any more?!)

One of the things organizers are looking for are local speakers who’d like to make a brief (~15 minute) presentation. As volunteer Don Riefler put it:

Any talk relating to skepticism, critical thinking, science, etc. is relevant.

If you think you’d like to be a speaker, please contact don@skepchicamp.com.

More info on the event will be forthcoming!

That’s the day after my birthday, and so close to my hometown, but unfortunately I’m across the country at school. It looks really awesome though.

Thanks for the shout-out, Hemant! Skepchicamp is in large part organized around our speakers, so the more we get, the better a conference we’ll have.

Anyone and everyone is invited to speak!
