The Gaytheists Blog

Reed Braden has begun a new website that sounds very promising:

The Gaytheists is a new group blog for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning Atheists, skeptics and Humanists.

LGBTQ. Perfect.

lol, it has both my first (whom I dumped for second gay husband when he got kicked out of the creation museum and became internet famous)and second gay husband on there, I’m not surprised at all.

I always parse that as “gay theists”… Just doesn’t seem to flow.

Aha! The Homosecular Gaytheist is at it again! Rock on, Reed.

@Chal, that’s crossed my mind as well.

same with me chal. Love the concept hate the url.

  • Excellent news and a timely reminder as I haven’t visited for ages.

Buffy has written a blog called The Gaytheist Agenda for quite some time. She is very witty and the blog is a great source of GLBTQ info.

What, no mention of trisexuals? Why the hate?

  • Well, he does not mention polyamorous pansexuals but I still feel welcomed as a contributor. ;-P

  • The name is brilliant. Can you think of a single word that might put a right wing religious fanatic in a greater state of shock?

  • I’m glad somebody else mentioned that “gaytheist” looks like “gay theist” when scanning headers quickly. lol.

it conjures up an images of pat robertson doing ted haggert that never ceases to crack me up.

well, best of luck to them and their blog.

a while back on atheistnexus.com I was friended by a guy whose a pretty active user named “dallas gaytheist.” wonder if it’s the same dude.

Ugh, I can’t read that blog. It truncates articles and I have to click “read more” to finish it. I’d much rather be able to scroll through without clicking. Just chalk me up as another prissy homo lol.
