Most Influential Asian Americans Under 30

On Angry Asian Man‘s list of the 30 Most Influential Asian Americans Under 30, I didn’t quite make the cut.

I lost to the Gosselin Kids.

And all the winners of America’s Best Dance Crew.

Rest assured this travesty will never happen again. Next year, I vow to learn how to breakdance.

I guess I’m showing my age here, but who the hell are the Gosselin Kids? You wuz robbed!

  • SarahH

You were totally robbed, Hemant. I guess you’ll just have to wait for next year, when at least five of those people will be ineligible, after turning 31.

Although consider yourself fortunate to have even been an honorable mention on a list that includes the fantastic Mindy Kaling!

  • Hemant, you should be on that list!

I didn’t get on the list because I’m over 30…and not Asian…and not influential. Oh darn!

  • It’s Ok, Hemant. “Asian American” is a pretty darn large minority group…

  • I thought you were joking about not quite making the cut – but you really were an honorable mention!

Very cool, I must say. Congrats Hemant!

  • At least you didn’t lose a singing contest to William Hung. THAT would have sucked…

  • Hey now, some of those guys that won ABDC are neither Asian (Dominic “D-trix” is Hispanic) nor Asian American (Hok is from Hong Kong). Those are two less people you have to worry about!
