Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, will be speaking to college and local groups in the Washington, D.C. and Virginia area next week!
He’ll be speaking about his book Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America’s Leading Atheists, why we need separation of church and state, and religious displays on public property (it was FFRF that put the atheist plaque in the Olympia, Washington Capitol building).
If you’ve never heard him speak, he’s fantastic. Bring religious friends with you. Have them ask questions after the talk. It’ll be entertaining.
