The question is whether you think this is real or satire:
After the success of an ambitious pilot program, Campus Crusade for Christ International is shifting all future evangelism efforts away from college students and to pre-school children.
“Within five years we’ll be out of college ministry entirely,” says CCCI president Steve Douglass. “Campus pre-school ministry has proven much more effective.”
…
Campus Crusade says pre-schools offer a unique avenue for evangelism. Because most are not publicly funded, there are no strict rules regarding religion. And because the children are so young, even non-Christian parents are reluctant to put boundaries on what they say and do.
“A pre-schooler can talk about Christ a lot more explicitly in that setting than any adult could,” says Douglass.
Not only that, but pre-schoolers have yet to form a solid worldview.
“Spiritual maturity is happening younger and younger, which is why college ministry is becoming less effective,” says Douglass. “By the time kids reach college, their beliefs are set in stone.”
…
“There are plenty of college ministries, but how many are doing secular pre-school outreach really well?” asks Douglass.
…
Even if you figure out that it’s satire, you *know* you thought otherwise for just a second there…
Really, a textbook example of Poe’s Law.
