Internetically Streaming Version of the Atheist Alliance International Convention

For those of you who are unable to attend the upcoming Atheist Alliance International convention in Long Beach, California, AAI is once again offering Internet streaming of the convention.

… After the 2007 convention, people wrote to say how pleased they were to have hosted large house parties, meetings, presentations at theaters and presentations at colleges. They also commented about the clarity of the picture and the fantastic audio that was provided. Consequently, AAI is offering live Internet streaming video of the 2008 AAI “Unsinkable Atheism” convention taking place September 25-28, 2008 on the Queen Mary (permanently docked in Long Beach, California).

The best news of all is that the live Internet streaming video service will be available at a much lower rate then in 2007. Here are the new prices:

1. $75 for all three days (Friday night-Sunday morning)
2. $20 Friday night only
3. $40 Saturday (all day and all night)
4. $20 Sunday morning only

In case you want to know who is speaking on those days, the schedule can be found here (PDF).

  • Sadly, it’d cost me less to be there than to watch the video on the internet (b/c I’m a student). And Ellen Johnson is going to be there? Interesting … Hopefully there’s no drama, and it’s a pleasant event. I’m sure that Margaret Downey’s rays of positivity will shield off anything negative. There’s just something so homey (in a good way) and awesome about her. I love it!

  • I’m going to be there representing The Atheist Spot. We’ll have our own table, with free pens for all!

  • Siamang

Who all here’s going to be there? Hemant? Richard?

I think I really can’t miss it, as long as I’ll have some company.

  • I won’t be able to come because of a prior speaking engagement 🙁 This makes me sad.

But I will be at the FFRF convention in Chicago in October!

  • Could you give a link to the FFRF convention in Chicago?
